Spartanburg, South Carolina Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Substitute Teachers to join our team. In this role, you will support the educational needs of children in integrated, inclusive classrooms (ages 0 to 5) while working under the direction of full-time teachers in a dual model classroom.

Qualifications:

Meet state education and experience requirements. (Kelly Education will assist with the state DSS requirement) Ability to lift materials and assist with children's needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting diverse cultures. Ability to follow directions and establish effective working relationships.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate learning and teaching in the absence of the regular teacher. Implement educational programs and support children's individual goals. Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment. Document communication and interactions with children and staff. Follow sign-in/sign-out procedures and comply with school rules. Attend to the personal needs of children, including feeding and diapering, as needed.

Additional Information:

The position requires adherence to Kelly Education's S.A.F.E. Touch policy regarding physical contact with students. Unacceptable duties include administering corporal punishment, transporting children, or being alone with a student off-site without supervision.
