Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support childhood development through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a sense of security and curiosity in every child you care for, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with professionalism and warmth. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social skills, and creativity. Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to safety protocols, conducting regular environment checks, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free space. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns. Support children's developmental milestones through tailored caregiving strategies and classroom experiences. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities. Maintain detailed records of children's activities, health incidents, and developmental progress in compliance with licensing standards. Complete Online courses in childcare. Qualifications DSS certified in the state of SC is highly preferred. Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively and effectively while fostering a nurturing environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, colleagues, and community resources. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm.
