Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and highly motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team! Your expertise in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum design will ensure each child receives personalized attention and a solid foundation for lifelong success. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's developmental progress using standardized testing methods and observational techniques to tailor instruction effectively. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, language, and social skills through lesson planning and hands-on experiences. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and support child welfare initiatives. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining discipline through positive reinforcement strategies. Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when applicable. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and early learners. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to create an organized learning environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in special education or Montessori methods is a plus. Ability to adapt lesson plans for diverse learners and implement inclusive practices supporting child welfare.
