Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental needs of children from toddler to preschool age. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections. Conduct assessments of child development using standardized testing methods and document progress accurately. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and school events to enhance the overall educational experience. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting . Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is a plus. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators effectively. Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
