In this vital role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, educational activities, and compassionate caregiving. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to explore and learn. Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including play, learning games, arts and crafts, and outdoor recreation Provide specialized care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Maintain a clean and organized environment that supports safe play and learning experiences Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of abuse or neglect in accordance with legal requirements Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills development Qualifications Experience working with children across various age groups of school aged children. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with safety standards Ability to effectively communicate with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Strong activity planning skills tailored to different age groups; creativity in engaging children in meaningful play and learning experiences This role is perfect for passionate caregivers eager to support children's growth while building rewarding relationships.
