Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children
• Monitor and record children's progress and behavior
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive learning environment
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in childcare or related field (e.g., early childhood education, nannying, special education) is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of child development principles and practices
• Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certifications)
• Willingness to submit to a state and federal background check
