Job Description

Overview Real Life Childcare Center is a faith-based, play-based program and ministry of Real Life Church of the Nazarene. We provide a safe, nurturing environment for children from birth to age five while supporting families with dependable, high-quality care. We are seeking a caring and dependable Lead Caregiver to create a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered classroom environment. This role includes leading daily activities, supporting child development, and building strong relationships with children and families. Duties Provide attentive care for children ages birth-5 Lead play-based learning activities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Follow daily routines (meals, naps, transitions) Communicate with parents about daily progress Ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards Supervise assistant staff as needed teaching Bible lessons to children ages 3-5 Skills Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required (or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe) Experience with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children Knowledge of early childhood development Strong communication and leadership skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must pass background check Previous lead teacher/caregiver experience Experience in a faith-based setting Some knowledge of the Bible and ability to teach Bible stories and lessons to children ages 3-5.
