Position Summary The Daycare Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and develop socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Teachers plan and implement age-appropriate activities, maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, and partner with families to support each child's development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Create and maintain a positive, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Plan and implement daily activities that promote learning through play. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Follow all state licensing regulations and daycare policies. Maintain appropriate classroom ratios and active supervision at all times. Assist children with daily routines including meals, bathroom breaks, handwashing, and naps. Encourage positive behavior using age-appropriate guidance techniques. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and needs. Keep the classroom clean, organized, and sanitized. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education requirements. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to ensure quality care and consistency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children preferred. Ability to pass all required background checks. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day. Pay:

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
