Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth aligned with early childhood standards Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to active learning and child welfare Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor individual child development and tailor instruction accordingly Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student records and incident reports Lead age-appropriate activities such as toddler care routines, physical education exercises, and literacy instruction to foster holistic development Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in classroom management, curriculum development, and child welfare initiatives Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children across various age groups within preschool or daycare settings Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to implement developmentally age appropriate practices or other specialized teaching methods as appropriate Certification in first aid and CPR must be obtained in the first 90 days; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social interactions Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the nurturing guidance they need to thrive!
