Experienced 2K Preschool Teacher Bee Kids Preschool Learning Center is growing, and we are looking for an experienced 2K teacher who understands that teaching two-year-olds takes equal parts skill, patience, energy, consistency, and a great sense of humor! This is not an entry-level classroom position. We are looking for someone with previous childcare or preschool classroom experience who is confident managing a busy classroom of curious, active two-year-olds. What We're Looking For Our ideal teacher: Has previous experience working in a preschool or childcare classroom , preferably with two-year-olds Has strong classroom management skills and can confidently maintain routines, expectations, and structure Understands age-appropriate expectations for two-year-olds and approaches challenging behaviors with patience and consistency Has the patience to help little people learn about their great big world Has enough energy to dance, sing, get on the floor, be silly, and keep them moving, moving, moving! Can create a classroom that is both fun AND well-managed Understands that play is an important part of how young children learn Communicates professionally and positively with parents and coworkers Is dependable, punctual, and ready to be an active member of a team Can provide loving care while maintaining appropriate boundaries and expectations About the Classroom Our 2K program is a busy season of development! Children are building independence, developing language, learning social-emotional skills, practicing classroom routines, and discovering how to interact with the world around them. We want a teacher who doesn't simply supervise two-year-olds—we want someone who knows how to teach them through play, movement, music, conversation, exploration, routines, and relationships.
