Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture young minds and support their developmental journey. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers and caregivers to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your energy and compassion will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their well-being is always prioritized. Duties Assist in supervising children during playtime, activities, meals, naps, and outdoor excursions to ensure safety at all times Support lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans that promote early childhood education and developmental milestones Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, creativity, and cognitive growth Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and safety Provide basic first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's day or any concerns Help with diapering, feeding, and comforting infants and toddlers to meet their individual needs Support behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional regulation among children Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying roles with classroom experience preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively and compassionately First aid certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire to ensure safety standards are met Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents or guardians Patience, adaptability, and a lively approach to creating an energetic learning environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about nurturing young learners. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
