Utilize curriculum development strategies aligned with early childhood education standards and Montessori principles to support holistic growth. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom activities. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to all safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification requirements. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or toddler classrooms. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and childhood welfare practices. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing Montessori or other educational frameworks for young children. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that supports special education needs or early intervention strategies. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education assessments. Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with behavior management techniques; understanding of mandated reporting laws.
