Job Description

Who We Are Spring Hollow Early Learning Center is a Reggio-Emilia inspired preschool emphasizing in nature, art, collaboration, exploration, and social-emotional development. We serve a mixed-age group of children ages 3-5 years. Our days are spent both indoors and outdoors.
Hours & Schedule:
This position is for three days per week (Wednesday-Thursday-Friday OR Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday). This is a year-round position. We follow Williamson County School's calendar for holidays and weather closures. Typical hours are 8:45-3:15 for the school year (August-May); 8:45-2:15 for the summer (June and July) Job description: We're currently seeking a Part-Time Float to join our team beginning this school year in August.
Compensation:
$18.00/hour and up, based on experience and education.
Responsibilities:
Support the Teachers and Staff in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children Assist with daily routines including snack/lunch, outdoor exploration, and creative projects Cover staff for breaks, meetings, and absences Help to prepare/clean up and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and activities Assist with snack time, lunch, bathroom and playground supervision as needed Observe and document children's experiences to support emergent curriculum development Perform other duties as assigned by the director to support the overall operation of Spring Hollow Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a joyful, organized classroom community
Ideal Candidate:
High School Degree or equivalent Has experience working with young children in a play-based or Reggio-inspired setting (preferred but not required) Brings patience, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit Loves being outdoors in all seasons Communicates effectively with children and adults Is able to bend, lift, sit on the floor and stand for longer periods throughout the day The position of a Float is a flexible team member who supports the classroom by providing coverage, assisting teachers and helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children. Adaptability, flexibility, a positive attitude and a willingness to assist wherever needed is required.
