Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for young children Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support learning, creativity, and social development Follow daily schedules that include learning activities, meals, rest time, and outdoor play Maintain a clean, organized classroom and sanitize toys, tables, and materials regularly Encourage positive behavior and guide children in developing social and emotional skills Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and needs Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support classroom routines and center goals Follow all licensing regulations and center policies related to health, safety, and supervision Assist with classroom setup, organization of learning materials, and end-of-day cleanup Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and supportive learning environment Classroom management skills and the ability to guide children's behavior in a calm and professional manner Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, structured classroom environment Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with young children at different developmental stages Ability to multitask and manage classroom routines effectively Teamwork and collaboration with other teachers and staff Basic understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning activities Reliability and professionalism in maintaining schedules, supervision, and responsibilities Ability to follow childcare licensing regulations and center policies

Pay:

$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
