Our family-owned group of preschool centers has been serving families throughout Blount and Knox Counties for nearly 30 years . Ideal candidates are team-oriented, patient, creative, and committed to providing a safe and loving environment for the children and families we serve. Degrees or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field are preferred but not required. Previous childcare experience and training are a plus!

II CLASSROOM

3-4 year olds Teaching Duties & Responsibilities Follow all state licensing requirements, company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Put the health, safety, and well-being of children first at all times. Implement our play-based curriculum and prepare engaging daily learning experiences. Complete lesson plans and developmental assessments/checklists as required. Establish positive, meaningful relationships with children and families. Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, co-teachers, and directors. Work collaboratively with your teaching team to maintain consistency throughout the classroom. Assist with classroom routines, meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, transitions, and outdoor play. Maintain a clean, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom. Skills & Qualifications Compassionate and nurturing Patient and dependable Creative and enthusiastic Flexible and team-oriented Strong communication skills Professional and positive attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced classroom environment High school diploma or equivalent required; education related to Early Childhood Education is preferred Previous childcare or preschool experience is a plus
