Duties Supervise children during afternoon activities, ensuring safety and well-being at all times Assist with classroom routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and safety Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning and exploration Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates, concerns, or questions about their child's day Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions among children Follow mandated reporting laws and protocols to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching techniques Experience with child supervision, classroom management, and behavior guidance strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid or child-specific emergency response training is a plus Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating responsibility and nurturing skills recommended Understanding of early childhood education best practices including toddler care and classroom instruction This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support children's growth in a lively environment.
