Facilitate engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math, childhood development, and social skills to promote holistic growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, creating a safe and respectful environment for all children. Conduct regular assessments of child progress using standardized testing methods and provide tailored support for individual learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's development, progress, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child welfare and safety protocols. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists as necessary. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or childcare centers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development strategies. First aid and CPR certification is preferred; ongoing training in child welfare and safety is highly valued. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity. Prior experience with toddler care, behavior management, literacy education, and working within special education or early intervention programs is desirable.
