Your expertise will empower children to explore their world confidently while supporting their emotional and developmental needs. This is a biblically based center that reads the bible to students daily. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on infant care, literacy education, and early intervention strategies that align with best practices in childhood development. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, motor skills, and cognitive development for infants and toddlers. Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap schedules, and behavior management to ensure a nurturing and organized environment. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and support ongoing learning at home. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and interns to uphold high standards of childcare and classroom management. Maintain accurate records of developmental milestones, assessments, and standardized testing results as required by licensing standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes child welfare. Experience Prior experience working with infants in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools is essential In the State of Tennessee under DHS. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for infants. Knowledge of special education principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and staff daily Experience with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood development is desirable. Proven ability to lead a team of educators while maintaining a positive, energetic approach that motivates staff and engages children.
