This position involves creating and implementing engaging curricula tailored to the needs of preschool and toddler-aged children. The specialist will work closely with children, families, and educators to support early intervention strategies, promote literacy, and enhance overall childhood development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support early childhood education goals. Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention techniques. Foster literacy education by incorporating reading and writing activities into daily lesson plans. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Engage in toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Utilize behavior management strategies to address various developmental needs. Plan and conduct lessons that incorporate physical education, math, and other core subjects. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, including standardized testing results. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is essential. Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable. Familiarity with Montessori methods or private school environments is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with families and colleagues. Previous experience in tutoring or providing specialized instruction will be beneficial. Knowledge of child welfare regulations and standards is important for maintaining a safe learning environment.
