Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental needs of children from toddler age through preschool years. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help children develop essential skills, build confidence, and cultivate a love for learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and overall child development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies aligned with early childhood development standards. Maintain current certifications in first aid and CPR to ensure safety at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum quality and share best practices in preschool teaching. Support children's social skills development through structured activities, play-based learning, and individualized attention. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting is required. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, literacy education, and behavior management techniques. Experience implementing curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing procedures is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within educational settings. Certification in first aid and CPR is mandatory; additional credentials such as Montessori training or experience are advantageous.
