Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddlers' developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social skills. Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Conduct regular assessments of child progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones accurately. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's growth, behavior, and learning progress. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, activity setup, transition management, and maintaining a clean and organized learning space. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain child welfare standards at all times. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, especially with toddlers or preschoolers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and preschool teaching methodologies. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare laws is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations while creating an enriching learning environment. Prior experience with special education or working with children requiring additional support is a plus.
