Toddler Teacher

This position is a regular full-time position and serves as a Lead Toddler Teacher who works collaboratively with the Toddler Team. The lead teacher implements the school mandated curriculum and abides by the Texas Minimum Standards. All activities support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children assigned to a specific constant care group.

Responsibilities:

Supervises and manages daily functions for a class of toddlers. Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom. Provides an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children Assists and coordinates snacks, meals, naptime, and bathroom activities Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions as determined by the Head of School. Observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior always. Performs other duties as assigned
