We are looking for caring, energetic, and dependable teachers to join our preschool team. Position:
Preschool Teacher Assistant Teacher Age Groups:
Children ages 12 months through 5 years
Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, loving, and positive classroom environment. Provide a balance between teacher directed and child directed activities. Plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities. Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest time. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Communicate professionally with parents and families. Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff. Maintain a commitment to professionalism by promoting the Goddard philosophy and educational objectives. Previous childcare experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required (CDA, ECE coursework, or related education is a plus). Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to pass required background checks. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
