PRE-K 4 LEAD TEACHERArlington, TX | Fast Interview & Hiring Process KIDS Early Learning Centers - KIDS Humpty Dumpty Academy is looking for an experienced, patient, energetic, and dependable Pre-K 4 Lead Teacher to join our Arlington team. We are especially looking for a teacher who has experience supporting children who need additional attention in the classroom. Experience working with children with special needs, developmental differences, behavioral challenges, sensory needs, or children who benefit from additional individualized support is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate understands how to maintain a structured classroom while providing patience, redirection, positive behavior support, individualized attention, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for every child.

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch

PRE-SCREENING PROCESS

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a teacher who can create a safe, structured, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging Pre-K classroom . The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with children who have different learning styles, developmental levels, behaviors, and classroom support needs.

You should be able to:

Remain patient and calm when children need additional redirection or support. Provide individualized attention while continuing to manage the entire classroom. Use positive behavior management and redirection techniques. Recognize when a child may need additional developmental, behavioral, sensory, or learning support. Modify classroom activities when appropriate to help children successfully participate. Maintain classroom structure, routines, expectations, and consistency. Communicate professionally with families and leadership regarding children's progress and classroom needs. Primary Responsibilities Plan and implement a full schedule of developmentally appropriate Pre-K learning activities. Implement the center's curriculum and classroom lesson plans. Maintain 5-8 organized learning centers that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Use a variety of teaching methods, including stories, music, art, hands-on activities, indoor/outdoor play, small-group instruction, and learning centers. Provide additional guidance and individualized classroom support for children who may require more attention. Promote positive behavior through consistency, redirection, encouragement, and age-appropriate classroom management strategies. Observe and evaluate children's developmental and academic progress. Identify behavioral or developmental concerns and communicate them appropriately with center leadership. Maintain professional and ongoing communication with parents regarding their child's progress. Supervise children at all times and maintain required classroom ratios. Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and safe classroom environment. Attend required staff meetings, professional development, trainings, orientation, and onboarding activities. Follow all KIDS Early Learning Centers policies, Texas Child Care Licensing requirements, and classroom safety procedures. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED. Previous experience working with young children. Ability to successfully complete required background check and fingerprinting . Ability to maintain active supervision of children at all times. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Patience, flexibility, dependability, and a genuine passion for working with children. Ability to complete all required orientation and training. Preferred Experience working with children with special needs or children requiring additional behavioral, developmental, sensory, or classroom support. Previous experience as a Pre-K Lead Teacher . CDA, Early Childhood Education credential, or college coursework/degree in Early Childhood Education. Knowledge of child development and current early childhood teaching practices. Current CPR and First Aid certification.
