In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for infants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will support the developmental milestones of our youngest learners, fostering their growth through intentional activities, compassionate caregiving, and effective classroom management. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on infant development, including sensory exploration, motor skills, and social-emotional growth Provide attentive caregiving by meeting infants' basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and comforting with patience and warmth Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, ensuring individualized attention and support Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and mandated reporting laws for child safety incidents Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones, behaviors, and daily activities Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support early childhood education standards and best practices in infant care Requirements Prior experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is essential Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Ability to work full-time hours in a dynamic environment that values energetic engagement with young children Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives!
