In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development for toddlers Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management Engage children in hands-on activities that support developmental milestones in communication, motor skills, and cognitive growth Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental achievements Maintain accurate documentation of each child's development and daily activities in compliance with childcare standards Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare at all times Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and special education accommodations when needed Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is essential Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred Familiarity with curriculum development, classroom management, and lesson planning for preschool-aged children Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education principles, including literacy education and physical education activities Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with a joyful learning experience that fosters growth, curiosity, and confidence.
