Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher specializing in childcare for two-year-olds. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes early childhood development through engaging lessons, positive behavior management, and strong communication with parents. Your energy and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity in young children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, incorporating literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism. Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and social interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns or updates. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety. Maintain accurate records of children's development and participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting. Knowledge of child development principles specific to toddlers. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention practices is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality. Passion for early childhood education with a focus on fostering growth through play-based learning.
