Job Description

Overview Our school family is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and loving Wee Two's Teacher to guide and care for our two-year-old learners. This stage is filled with curiosity, growing independence, and important developmental milestones and we are looking for someone who understands the unique joys of teaching two-year-olds. In this role, you will create a structured yet playful classroom environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore. Through hands-on activities, consistent routines, and gentle guidance, you will help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities Follow and implement our school's curriculum while thoughtfully adapting activities to meet the developmental needs of two-year-olds, supporting growth in language, motor skills, and early social development. Establish predictable daily routines that provide security and help toddlers transition smoothly between activities. Use positive, patient behavior guidance strategies to help children learn sharing, listening, and emotional regulation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Maintain regular, positive communication with parents regarding their child's growth, milestones, and daily classroom experiences. Ensure the health, safety, and emotional well-being of every child in your care. Qualifications & Experience Experience working specifically with toddlers in a preschool or daycare setting preferred. Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate expectations. Patient, calm, and nurturing personality. Ability to manage a classroom with consistency, warmth, and structure. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Pay:
$13.50 - $14.00 per hour
