Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote social-emotional growth, and ensure a safe, inclusive space where children can thrive. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape the foundational skills of our preschoolers, setting them up for lifelong success in learning and socialization. Duties Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education. Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs, including special education plans and early intervention strategies. Implement classroom management techniques to maintain an organized environment conducive to learning and play. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development through observations and tailor instruction effectively. Lead activities that promote childhood development milestones such as social skills, motor skills, language acquisition, and cognitive growth. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained. Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior logs, lesson plans, and compliance documentation for licensing requirements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by participating in professional development opportunities related to early intervention, literacy education, behavior management, and childhood development. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or private school setting. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum implementation across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in classroom management. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Previous leadership experience as a lead teacher or educational supervisor is preferred but not mandatory. Join us as a Preschool Lead Teacher to make a meaningful difference in young lives!
