Responsibilities Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement structured activities that promote childhood development, including arts, crafts, outdoor play, and educational games Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques Maintain a safe environment by adhering to Mininum Standards for Texas Childcare. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including teaching or babysitting roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in behavior management Experience facilitating youth programs or camp activities that promote social skills and teamwork Demonstrated ability to lead team-based activities or youth group programs in outdoor or indoor environments
