We are looking for an educator who values consistency, professionalism, teamwork, and strong relationships with children and families. This role includes implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences using Frog Street Curriculum, supporting children's social-emotional growth within a classroom culture rooted in Conscious Discipline, maintaining classroom documentation, and upholding Rising Starz expectations along with DFPS Minimum Standards and Texas Rising Star quality practices. This role is part of our commitment to maintaining strong classroom support and smaller group sizes so children receive the attention they need and teachers can do their best work. Student progress assessments are completed three times each school year in alignment with Pre-K Partnership expectations. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences using Frog Street Curriculum Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Maintain daily communication with families in a professional and welcoming manner Document children's learning through approved classroom documentation and observations Complete student progress assessments three times each school year in alignment with Pre-K Partnership expectations Follow DFPS Minimum Standards and support Texas Rising Star expectations Maintain required classroom records, ratios, and daily compliance practices Work collaboratively with leadership and team members to support classroom and program goals Model professionalism, reliability, and a strong team-centered attitude Qualifications Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required in alignment with our Pre-K Partnership expectations High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a preschool or licensed childcare setting Must meet DFPS requirements for employment in a licensed childcare center Strong verbal and written communication skills Positive, nurturing, and professional approach with children and families Strong work ethic, dependability, and initiative Ability to work well within an established team and classroom structure Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of experience in a preschool classroom Experience in a Texas Rising Star program Familiarity with Texas Rising Star quality practices Familiarity with classroom documentation and school readiness practices Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking children and families What Sets Our Team Apart Our team goes beyond supervision.
