KinderCare is seeking a Specialized Pre K Lead Teacher for our Creek Valley KinderCare center. In this role, you will lead a pre-K classroom, designing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that prepare children for kindergarten. You'll create a warm, inclusive environment, guide assistant teachers, and partner closely with families to support each child's social, emotional, and academic growth. Responsibilities Lead a specialized pre-K classroom, creating a safe, nurturing learning environment. Design and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum and daily lesson plans. Observe and assess children's growth, documenting progress and tailoring supports as needed. Collaborate with families through regular communication, conferences, and progress updates. Guide and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in classroom best practices. Maintain classroom organization, safety, and compliance with licensing and company standards. Adapt activities for children with diverse learning needs and backgrounds. Participate in professional development and contribute to center-wide educational initiatives.
