Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic 3s Teacher / Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will provide high-quality care and instruction to children in the three-year-old age group, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. As a floater, you will also support classroom coverage across different rooms as needed, helping maintain consistency and continuity in our program. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's development while working within a collaborative and supportive team. Responsibilities Lead and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored for three-year-olds, fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Provide consistent supervision and child safety oversight during all activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times. Support classroom management by maintaining organized learning environments that promote independence and curiosity. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences to build strong partnerships. Assist with daily routines such as snack time, diapering or toileting, nap times, and transitions to create a predictable schedule for children. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that align with early childhood education standards and individual needs. Flexibly cover different classrooms or age groups as a floater to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent care delivery. Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities for toddlers and preschoolers. Certification in First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and Mandated Reporting Laws is required or obtainable upon hire. Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration. Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, or occasional coverage across different classrooms.
