Job Description
About us The Depot Learning Center is a Christ-centered daycare in Conroe, TX. Our mission is to love, care for, and teach the children that come through our doors. Our goal is to partner with parents to train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it. (Prov. 22:6) We are looking for reliable, committed daycare workers who love Jesus, who are committed to the body of Christ, and who want to share his love with little ones! A candidate should express interest in working with children and must be willing to communicate with parents and team members.
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up after children
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in a daycare or working with students in an educational setting
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
