Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental growth of infants from birth to age two. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and collaborate closely with families to ensure each child's needs are met with care and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities focused on infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth. Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes curiosity and exploration for infants. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being through attentive child supervision and behavior management. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Implement early childhood education best practices aligned with child development instruction standards. Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and health information in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and adapt activities to meet individual needs, including those of children with disabilities or special needs. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is essential. Must have at least 2 years experience in a childcare center. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education strategies, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws are required. Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to maintain a safe environment through child supervision and behavior management skills. Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are preferred but not mandatory.
