Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote growth across all areas of childhood development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of young children, including toddlers and preschoolers that follows the school curriculum. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Manage daily classroom routines, procedures and schedules. This includes transitions, behavior management strategies, and individualized support for children with special education needs or early intervention requirements. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Conduct assessments of child development progress using standardized testing methods and maintain detailed records of each child's growth milestones. Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and childhood development principles into daily lessons to promote holistic learning. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools, childcare centers, or private schools. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and child development instruction. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required to ensure safety in emergency situations. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood development theories is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing methods is a plus.
