Our teachers provide responsive and nurturing care to eight children ages 0-4.They share the following responsibilities:
(A) working closely with each other to design and implement an age-appropriate educational program; (B) organizing and maintaining the classroom environment; (C) developing individual portfolio for each child; (D) working with parents and volunteers to improve their own parenting skills; and (E) working with other staff members to encourage each child's overall growth and development.Requirements :
- At least two years experience in a licensed childcare or other education facility
- Driver License
- Pass background check
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with infant/ toddler endorsement
- Associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor's degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, or a degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education, with experience teaching pre-school children
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of child development stages
- Ensure the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
- Clean interactive areas throughout the day
- Serve meals and snacks for the children
- Develop a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day
- Theatrical presentation in the classroom
- Organize activities and developing curriculum for older children
- Keep records of each child's progress, interests and any problems that may occur
