Duties Implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers or school-aged children. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and activities that meet individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child welfare, health, and safety protocols. Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other subject areas into daily lesson plans to support comprehensive childhood development. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to all health and safety standards including first aid and CPR certification requirements. Requirements Proven teaching experience with young children in early childhood education settings such as preschools or private schools. Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Ability to develop curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in childhood development is preferred. Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and educational standards. Pay:

$11.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
