We are committed to fostering a safe, loving, and educational space where children can grow and thrive. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will inspire early learners through engaging lesson plans, support their developmental milestones, and create a positive classroom atmosphere. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help shape the foundation for our students' future success. Responsibilities Develop and implement creative curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards Foster a nurturing environment that supports toddler care, behavior management, and childhood development Manage classroom activities to ensure safety, engagement, and effective learning experiences for preschool and pre-kindergarten students Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support individual student needs, including special education and early intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, including assessments and standardized testing results Incorporate Montessori methods and other educational philosophies to enhance learning outcomes Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a supportive community atmosphere Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience with behavioral management strategies and child welfare practices Familiarity with early intervention programs and special education accommodations is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues Background in childhood development theories, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous; Montessori training or certification is a plus
Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
