Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activities, and creative play. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort at all times. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences through regular updates. Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with colleagues to design age-appropriate lessons that support early intervention strategies and childhood development principles. Incorporate classroom management techniques to create a structured yet flexible learning space that encourages exploration and social interaction. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting, preferably with toddlers or preschoolers. Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or childhood welfare are a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing related to early childhood education. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and ensure child safety at all times. Classroom experience in preschool or private school environments is highly desirable; experience teaching physical education or math is advantageous.
