Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development for children in various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive interactions among children. Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor growth and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education activities, and social-emotional learning. Private school or preschool teaching experience is a plus; familiarity with standardized testing methods is beneficial. Pay:
