The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality preschool education through a Christ-centered , nurturing, and developmentally appropriate approach. This role is an opportunity to shape young hearts and minds by integrating biblical truths, modeling Christ-like character, and creating a learning environment where children feel valued, loved, and encouraged to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. We are currently looking for a Toddler Aide that will be working with 1-2-year-olds and a Preschool aide that will be working with 4-year-olds. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate, biblically integrated lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, science, and physical education. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that reflects Christian values and encourages exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning. Use positive, Christ-centered behavior management strategies that promote kindness, compassion, respect, and healthy social interactions. Maintain open, supportive communication with parents and guardians, partnering with families in prayer and in the spiritual development of their children. Support children's emotional and spiritual well-being by providing nurturing guidance during daily routines and modeling biblical principles through everyday interactions. Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational activities that promote childhood development across all domains, including spiritual growth. Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities in compliance with licensing and school standards. Participate in ongoing professional and spiritual development to remain current with early childhood best practices and to grow in faith and ministry effectiveness. Help teachers gather needed supplies and other resources when needed. Fill in for teachers in various rooms and serve as support staff for the preschool. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool, childcare, or daycare settings. Strong understanding of childhood development theories, classroom management, and behavior guidance strategies. Experience in curriculum development across core subjects, with the ability to naturally incorporate Scripture and biblical truths. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention, and standardized assessment procedures. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to design lessons that encourage learning through play while reflecting Christian values and meeting educational standards. Childcare certification or early childhood education credentials preferred. A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, commitment to Christian education, and willingness to model biblical principles in all interactions.
