Job description The Preschool Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the lead teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. This position involves provides classroom activities, supervising children during various times including meals and naps, and implement the Frogstreet curriculum. The teacher works closely with both students and parents to foster positive development and maintain classroom organization and safety, typically supporting a ratio of one teacher to eleven students. Responsibilities Provide classroom instruction and lesson delivery Provide supervision during classroom activities, meals, and nap times Prepare materials and set up activities to support learning goals Monitor children's behavior and promote positive interactions Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and needs Organize and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Enforce safety standards to ensure child well-being at all times Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience in early childhood education, preferably in a TRS or Accredited Center High school diploma or equivalent CDA required Preferred Qualifications Experience in childcare settings Strong communication skills Patience and empathy with young children Ability to work collaboratively in a team First Aid certification Keen observation skills to monitor child development Skills Curriculum Development Preschool Teacher Child Care Napping Communication Skills Early Childhood Education Child Development Collaboration Patience
