Responsibilities Implement Frogstreet curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections. Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, assessments, and mandated reporting laws compliance. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations including first aid and CPR certification requirements. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool teaching experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques. Ability to implement curriculum content that promotes literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents and staff. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
