About the job The Assistant Director supports the Academy Director in all aspects of operations, including staff management, enrollment, parent communication, compliance, and overall quality of the program. Kiddie Academy is an equal opportunity employer with good work environment, great pay and excellent benefits, including: Competitive pay Bonus based on performance Paid Time off and paid federal holidays Free uniforms Flexible Schedule Company paid professional development program Opportunity for advancement Discounted Childcare (limited availability and conditions apply) The director's responsibilities include the following: Support daily operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality program Step in as acting Director when needed Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, hiring, and onboarding Help maintain compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and Kiddie Academy procedures Assistant Director Build strong relationships with families and provide excellent customer service Conduct tours and follow up with prospective families to drive enrollment Support marketing efforts including events, open houses, and community outreach Assist with record keeping, licensing requirements, and administrative tasks Help manage classroom quality and support teachers in implementing curriculum Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and support staff Address parent concerns professionally and proactively
Qualifications :
Associate's Degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Assistant Director Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center Assistant Director Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with licensing, compliance, and staff supervision preferred Passion for early childhood education and team development Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment About Kiddie Academy Kiddie Academy® is a leader in educationally focused childcares for more than 30 years. Our academy offers programs from Infants to Pre-Kindergarten as well as After-School programs for Elementary School Students. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM until 6:00 PM.
