In this dynamic role, you will provide flexible support across classrooms, ensuring that infants and toddlers receive attentive, nurturing care that promotes their development and well-being. As a Floater, you will play a vital part in maintaining a positive, safe, and engaging environment for young children while supporting classroom staff with their daily responsibilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative setting where your passion for early childhood education can truly shine! Duties Assist in supervising and engaging infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Support classroom teachers with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and age-appropriate activities Provide responsive child supervision that fosters emotional security and encourages exploration Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns while maintaining confidentiality Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and developmental milestones Adapt quickly to different classroom needs by providing coverage during staff breaks or absences Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, or related safety training is desirable Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child supervision standards Classroom management skills combined with patience and a nurturing approach Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for our youngest learners!
