Responsibilities Supervise and care for infants during the closing shift, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones and sensory exploration Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure child well-being Maintain accurate documentation of daily routines, observations, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and diaper disposal with attention to hygiene standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transition between shifts and continuity of care Skills Proven experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children in daycare or childcare settings Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles Strong classroom management skills tailored to infant care environments Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for infants and young children Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports emotional and physical development Experience with classroom experience, daycare center operations, nannying or babysitting is highly valued Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives by providing exceptional infant care that fosters growth, curiosity, and trust.
