Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management will inspire growth and curiosity in our youngest learners. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote infant development, including motor skills, sensory exploration, and social-emotional growth Lead daily classroom routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities with enthusiasm and care Monitor and document each child's progress, ensuring individualized attention to their developmental milestones Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and first aid procedures Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among infants Collaborate closely with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support consistent care practices Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and other licensing requirements related to child safety and well-being Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is essential Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices Classroom experience managing young children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Proven ability to lead a classroom effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment Experience working within early childhood education frameworks and understanding of mandated reporting laws Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively Join us as a Lead Infant Teacher where your dedication transforms early childhood experiences into joyful learning adventures!
