Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to promote holistic development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress through standardized testing and informal observations to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with families and colleagues to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and behavior management strategies to maintain an organized learning space. Incorporate child welfare practices by promoting social-emotional learning, fostering inclusivity, and ensuring safety at all times. Support toddlers' care needs by providing attentive supervision and nurturing interactions that promote trust and comfort. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or pre-kindergarten children in daycare or private school settings Is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, including behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies. Experience developing curriculum content across subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and special education accommodations. Familiarity with early intervention programs and implementing individualized lesson plans for children with diverse learning needs. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members while fostering a collaborative educational environment.
