This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed weekly hours . It would be a great fit for someone looking for flexible, occasional work and extra income. There may also be opportunities to provide substitute coverage for another local childcare program, Pam's Joyful Journeys , which could provide additional opportunities for hours.

Location:

Heartland/Forney, TX Responsibilities Provide safe and attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Supervise children during play, meals, learning activities, outdoor time, and rest periods Assist with diaper changes, toileting, feeding, and other daily-care needs Follow established daycare routines and schedules Maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare environment Interact with children in a patient, positive, and age-appropriate manner Follow all childcare licensing and safety requirements Requirements Must be dependable and comfortable working with young children Previous childcare, daycare, babysitting, teaching, or similar experience preferred Must be able to pass required childcare background checks Must be willing to complete required childcare training Must obtain in-person Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification Comfortable caring for infants as well as toddlers and preschoolers Reliable transportation Must be available for occasional weekday coverage This position may be a good fit for a substitute teacher, retired teacher, college student studying education or child development, current/former daycare employee, stay-at-home parent with childcare experience, or someone looking for flexible supplemental income.
